Hello, I live in the capital of Ukraine, Kiev. Since May, 2012 I’m in a maternity leave having the opportunity to work on a freelance basis (up to 12 standard pages per day – 1860 signs). The language pair I work with is English/Russian, English/Ukrainian.

Education: In 2006 I graduated from Taurida National University in Simferopol (Crimea, Ukraine), level: higher (full-time), department of foreign languages (English, French), degree: Master, diploma with honors.

Experience in translating:

Since May, 2007 till the present time I work in the capacity of the freelance translator with several translation bureaus translating from/into English and from/into Russian/Ukrainian preferably in a legal field (contracts, articles of association and other statutory documents, payment documents, business correspondence, etc.). Since July, 2008 till May 2012 I held the position of the head of the realization department in a law firm (Kiev, Ukraine) and since January, 2007 till July, 2008 - the position of the assistant to the Senior Partner at the same company. The main activities and responsibilities, among others, were translation of the documentation, correspondence with the clients from all over the world. Since June, 2006 till December, 2006 I held the position of the translator in a company selling on the territory of Ukraine the products purchased in France. The main activities and responsibilities, among others, were interpretation during the meetings, telephone conferences, translation of the business documents, advertising materials and other required data and information.

Experience in translating:

Начиная с мая 2007 года по настоящий период я работаю в качестве внештатного переводчика в нескольких агентствах переводов, выполняя переводы с /на английского языка на/с русского/украинского языков преимущественно в юридической сфере (контракты, уставы и другие уставные документы, платежные документы, деловая переписка и т.д.) . Начиная с июля 2008 года по май 2012 года, я занимала должность начальника отдела реализации в юридической фирме (Киев. Украина), и с января 2007 года по июль 2008 года – должность ассистента Главного партнера той же компании. Основными обязанности, среди прочего, был перевод документации, переписка с клиентами со всего мира. Начиная с июня 2006 года по декабрь 2006 года, я занимала должность переводчика в компании, которая занимается продажей на территории Украины продукции, закупаемой во Франции. Основными обязанностями, среди прочего, был перевод на встречах, телефонных конференций, перевод деловой документации, рекламных материалов и других необходимых сведений и информации.
